Dr. Arthur DeMarsico joined UPMC in 2013 as a Clinical Assistant Professor of Surgery. He earned his degree in osteopathic medicine from the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine and subsequently completed his fellowship in vascular and endovascular surgery at the Philadelphia College of Osteopathic Medicine in 2001. Dr. DeMarscio has been the Director of Vascular Services at UPMC Altoona Hospital since 2001 and the Medical Director of the Vascular Institute at that facility since 2005. He specializes in surgery and vascular disease with clinical interests in aneurysms, carotid dissection, atherectomies, deep vein thrombosis, acute limb ischemia, lower extremity arterial occlusive disease, and endovascular approaches to aortic pathology and peripheral vascular disease.
