The Division of Colon and Rectal Surgery is dedicated to providing compassionate, state-of-the-art surgical care for all patients with diseases of the small bowel, colon, rectum, and anus.
As one of the leading programs in the country for the treatment of endocrine disease, the Division of Endocrine Surgical Oncology offers expert, comprehensive surgical care for diseases of the thyroid, parathyroid, adrenal glands, and the endocrine pancreas.
The Division of Gastrointestinal/Surgical Oncology comprises faculty surgeons who have dedicated their careers to the treatment of patients with gastrointestinal diseases and cancers.
The Division of General Surgery offers world-class general surgery procedures by a team of experts who work together in the study, development, and implementation of new procedures and devices.
General/Trauma/Acute Care Surgery
The division encompasses one of the busiest and most advanced trauma centers in the region.
Hepato-Pancreato-Biliary (HPB) Surgery
The HPB division consists of four hepatobiliary surgical oncologists that specialize in treating patients with liver or pancreatic cancer, as well as benign liver diseases.
Minimally Invasive and Metabolic Surgery
The Minimally Invasive and Metabolic Surgery Division treats the highest number of bariatric cases within the UPMC health system and conducts extensive research and teaching activities.
The Division of Pediatric General and Thoracic Surgery provides comprehensive care to infants and children of all ages via Children’s Hospital of Pittsburgh of UPMC.
The Division of Vascular Surgery at UPMC offers comprehensive arterial, endovascular, and venous care by a team of vascular experts.
