Herbert J. Zeh III, MD, an accomplished clinical investigator who has been serving as a member of the of the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Clinical Research Oversight Committee since 2011 and Chair of the Data Safety Monitoring Committee since 2013, will join the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center senior leadership team as the new Associate Director for Clinical Investigation. In this role, Dr. Zeh will oversee and support the re-design and re-organization of the center’s infrastructure for clinical research to increase efficiency, reduce activation timelines, and expand clinical trial availability to the many point-of-care sites in the UPMC Hillman Cancer Center network. He will also oversee Clinical Research Services in collaboration with UPMC Hillman Cancer Center Chief Operating Officer and Vice President Stephanie K. Dutton, MPA.
