Why I Chose the University of Pittsburgh

The University of Pittsburgh was an easy choice for me. I was originally drawn to the high volume, complex cases, diverse training sites, and endless research opportunities, but during my interview, it was clear the culture was unique. Faculty and residents are supportive and are truly vested in your success. I feel comfortable approaching anyone at any time and genuinely enjoy working with my co-residents.

Non-Academic Accomplishments

I love to spend my days off cooking and hosting my co-interns for meals, being with my dog Louis, and exploring Pittsburgh with my wife Erin.
