Congratulations to William R. Wagner, PhD, Director of the McGowan Institute for Regenerative Medicine, who was appointed Distinguished Professor of Surgery in the University of Pittsburgh School of Medicine effective October 1, 2019. With this designation, Dr. Wagner is recognized for his extraordinary, internationally-recognized, scholarly attainment and for his special contributions to the intellectual advancement of our departments, the School of Medicine, and the University.
