UPMC immediately stood out to me for its ability to perfectly balance clinical excellence with academic pursuits, fostering sharp, skilled, and highly academic surgeons. Beyond that, this institution is home to some of the kindest physicians I have ever met, all of whom are wholeheartedly dedicated to the well-being of their patients and one another. I knew I would be encouraged to grow and pursue my interests with full force. I would choose UPMC a million times over.
Non-Academic Accomplishments
Outside of the hospital, I spend as much time as I can in nature; running, hiking, or just exploring the city. You can also find me trying new restaurants, wandering through farmers markets, and traveling whenever I can.
