At the 2025 Green Suite Celebration, the research administration office of the Department of Surgery was awarded the Pitt Sustainability Award.
Through their continued efforts in keeping the office green they achieved "Sustainable Oak" level for their Green Office designation.
Congratulations to our Research Administration and Finance office, who received the University of Pittsburgh’s Sustainability Green Office “Sustainable Oak” designation in January 2024.
Congratulations to Yvonne Brewster Way who received the Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve Patriot Award. The Patriot Award reflects the efforts made to support citizen warriors through a wide-range of measures including flexible schedules, time off prior to and after deployment, caring for families, and granting leaves of absence if needed.
